Inspirational Programmes help owners improve their shops
Over 200 small shops owners attended the Inspirational Programmes this year. Inspired by the talks, they use the ideas provided by the professionals to improve their shops. According to the questionnaire received from the owners 6 months after they attended the talks, 80% of the owners improved their shops in terms of decorations, the items of the shops and the services. Also, 75% of them admitted that they have 20% more customers after the improvements. This is a great success and we will continue to organize Inspirational Programmes in the incoming days to help the owners to survive by learning the latest marketing and management strategies.
The owner of Yip Hang Kit Grocery store, Mr Wong, shared his experiences of attending the programmes. "I learned a lot from the programmes. I discovered that I haven't fully utilized the features of the shop to attract more customers. After attending the talks, I have come up with some new management strategies that I have never thought of. For example, I improved the way the goods are arranged. It didn't cost me a lot but attracts more customers. My customers told me it is more convenient for them to get the things they want. Some customers even come to my shop to buy necessities regularly instead of shopping at supermarkets because of the convenience of finding goods in a small shop! I hope more shop owners can benefit from the programmes organized by Small Shop Support."
