Cherry knows more about small shops from the talks
Cherry is a F.3 student studying in Yuen Long Primary School. She learned how to save money and the need to save small local businesses after attending the talks organized by Small Shop Support. She shared her feelings after several talks.
“Before attending the talks, I only thought of chain stores when I need to buy necessities as they are convenient to go. After the talks, I discovered that there is a wider range of goods in some small shops. If Small Shop Support didn't introduce the advantages of shopping in small stores and the importance of saving these shops, I would still ignore the shops even I walk pass them every day. In fact, small shops have many distinctive characteristics that need to be conserved. I hope more people would know it and help saving the small local businesses."
